Steeped in rich history, 33 Queen Street was completed in 1930 and operated as the headquarters for the Bank of New South Wales until 1970, when it became the Westpac Bank Building. It operated as a bank until the late 90’s, at which time the building was converted to office use.
Major Brisbane projects are also set to benefit the heritage building. Brisbane Metro and Cross River Rail are nearing completion, as well as the Olympics games in 2032 which will draw national and international attention.
The doorstep to Queen's Wharf, with over 50 restaurants & bars, 12 football fields of public space, and Brisbane’s first 6 Star Hotel, this precinct is anticipated to rebalance the focus of Brisbane’s CBD and be a unique point of amenity for those who call 33 Queen Street home.
33 Queen Street is centrally located on the bustling corner of Queen Street Mall and George Street. The property enjoys frequent exposure from commuter traffic and foot traffic.
